Backend Developer (PHP / Laravel) - Louco App

Louco is building a new generation event discovery platform that connects users, creators and the entertainment industry. Our goal is not just to build another event app – we want to rethink how people find & attend events.

We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer (PHP / Laravel) who wants to build a real product and work closely with our founders and tech lead.

Tasks

You will be responsible for building and scaling the backend infrastructure of the Louco platform.

Key areas include:

• API development for mobile applications
• event discovery systems
• ticketing infrastructure
• social features and user interactions
• payment integrations (Stripe)
• search and recommendation systems

You will work closely with:

• Flutter mobile developer
• frontend developer
• our tech lead and product owner team

Requirements

Our backend stack includes:

• PHP
• Laravel
• Typesense
• Redis
• MySQL / PostgreSQL
• REST APIs
• Docker
• Stripe integrations
• min. B2 English Level
• DevOps / infrastructure experience and scalable backend systems
• experience with high traffic platforms

We are looking for someone who:

• has 6+ years experience as a backend developer
• has strong experience with PHP and Laravel
• has built API Architecture for mobile applications
• has worked on social, streaming, event, ticketing or platform products
• has experience with payment systems (Stripe)
• understands scalable backend architecture
• has experience working in startup environments
• is comfortable working under pressure and tight deadlines
• writes clean, maintainable code
