This role partners senior business and technology leaders to align business priorities with the product strategy and drives the successful execution of large, complex, cross functional initiatives.This role serves as the product authority across systems and capabilities, ensuring solutions are scalable, integrated, and aligned to enterprise standards, while delivering measurable business outcomes. In addition to business applications, this role drives the strategy for AI enabled capabilities across the Business Systems landscape, ensuring adoption of scalable, governed solutions that deliver measurable business impact.This role also ensures that product strategy, architecture, and delivery align with FedRAMP requirements, supporting the design, implementation, and ongoing compliance of secure, regulated cloud environments.What you'll get to do • Ensure product strategy, architecture, and delivery align with FedRAMP security and compliance requirements • Partner with security, compliance, and engineering teams to support FedRAMP authorization, audits, and continuous monitoring activities • Embed security and compliance considerations into product design, prioritization, and delivery processes • Drive adoption of compliant, secure, and scalable solutions that meet federal and regulated customer requirements • Own and drive product strategy and roadmap across essential applications within the Business Systems landscape • Translate business strategy into scalable product capabilities and aligned system roadmaps • Partners with senior business and technology stakeholders to shape demand, define priorities, and influence investment decisions • Drive delivery of complex, multi-system product initiatives • Ensure alignment and integration across systems, enabling end-to-end process optimization and consistent user experience • Identify cross system dependencies, risks, and constraints, and proactively define mitigation strategies • Establish and enforce product management standards, governance, and best practices across teams • Oversee prioritization across multiple backlogs, ensuring alignment to strategic outcomes and enterprise priorities • Evaluate tradeoffs across initiatives, balancing speed, cost, risk, and long-term scalability • Define and track measurable business outcomes, including operational efficiency, customer experience, and cost optimization • Define and drive the strategy for AI and automation capabilities across the Business Systems landscape, prioritizing high impact use cases that improve efficiency, decision making, and user experience • Serve as the escalation point for complex or high impact product decisions requiring cross functional alignment • Present product strategies, roadmaps, tradeoffs, and outcomes to senior leadership to support decision making • Drive adoption and optimization of product capabilities to maximize business value • Continuously identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and ways of working across the organization • Mentor and guide product owners and analysts, elevating product management maturity across teamsSkills and experience we value • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience • 10+ years of experience in Product Ownership, Product Management, or related roles within enterprise environments • Proven experience owning product strategy and delivery across multiple systems or a product domain • Strong understanding of enterprise business systems, including customer operations, case management, and CRM platforms • Demonstrated experience leading large scale, complex, cross functional initiatives • Proven experience defining and implementing AI or automation solutions within enterprise systems, with demonstrated business impact • Strong understanding of AI and data driven product capabilities, including practical applications and limitations in enterprise environments • Strong understanding of system integrations, data models, and enterprise application architecture • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive decision making • Experience operating in Agile delivery environmentsWhat would make you really stand out • Strong strategic thinking, with the ability to connect business objectives to product strategy and execution • Deep understanding of product management principles and lifecycle management • Strong system level thinking across multiple platforms and business processes • Executive level communication and stakeholder management skills • Ability to lead through influence across multiple teams without direct authority • Strong decision-making skills in ambiguous and fast paced environments • Ability to define and measure business outcomes and use data to drive decisions • Strong collaboration skills across business and technical teams • Ability to prioritize and manage work across multiple initiatives and stakeholdersWhat’s in it for youDayforce is fueled by the diversity of our talented employees.
